Safety
Warranty
The Artura comes with a full 5-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Temerario’s 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty expires 2 years sooner.
Reliability
The Temerario’s redline is at 10,000 RPM, which causes more engine wear, and a greater chance of a catastrophic engine failure. The Artura has a 8500 RPM redline.
Fuel Economy and Range
The Artura has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Temerario doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.
Suspension and Handling
The Artura has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Temerario doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.
Chassis
The McLaren Artura may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 300 to 400 pounds less than the Lamborghini Temerario.
The Artura is 6.6 inches shorter than the Temerario, making the Artura easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
The Artura’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Temerario doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
Model Availability
The McLaren Artura comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Lamborghini Temerario isn’t available as a convertible.
