Compare the2025 McLaren 750SVS 2025 Bugatti Mistral

The McLaren 750S has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Mistral doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The 750S offers an optional 360 Degree Park Assist to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Mistral only offers a rear monitor.

Both the 750S and the Mistral have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

On the EPA test cycle the 750S gets better fuel mileage than the Mistral (15 city/19 hwy vs. 8 city/12 hwy).

In heavy traffic or at stoplights the 750S’ engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. The engine is automatically restarted when the driver gets ready to move again. If the conditions warrant or the driver wishes, the system can be manually disabled at any time for the duration of a trip. The Mistral doesn’t offer an automatic engine start/stop system.

The 750S has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Mistral doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The 750S has active sway bars, which help keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnect at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The Mistral doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.

The 750S offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Bugatti doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Mistral.

The 750S is 9.1 inches narrower than the Mistral, making the 750S easier to handle and maneuver in traffic.

The 750S is 7.7 inches shorter in height than the Mistral, making the 750S much easier to wash and garage and drive (lower center of gravity).

The 750S’ standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Mistral doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

In case of a sudden change of weather, the 750S Convertible has a standard remote convertible top that can be raised from a distance to protect the interior of the vehicle from damage. On a hot day the 750S Convertible has a standard remote opening feature, to lower the top from outside. The Mistral doesn’t offer a remote top, so the driver will have to run to the car, get in and manually raise the top to prevent the interior from being damaged.

The 750S’ rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Mistral’s

The 750S’ standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Mistral doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

The 750S’ standard separate stalk mounted cruise control is close at hand. The Mistral’s standard cruise control is on an over-crowded turn signal stalk.

Standard smartphone integration for the 750S allows the driver and passengers access to select programs on their smartphones, including reading text messages aloud, playing internet radio stations and other connected activities without taking their eyes off the road or their hands from the wheel. The Mistral doesn’t offer factory integrated smartphone program access.

The McLaren 750S comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Bugatti Mistral isn’t available as a coupe.
