The McLaren GTS has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The SF90 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The McLaren GTS has standard Parking Sensors to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or in front of their vehicle. The SF90 doesn’t offer a front parking aid.

Both the McLaren GTS and the SF90 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

The McLaren GTS’ corrosion warranty is 7 years longer than the SF90’s (10 vs. 3 years).

On the EPA test cycle the McLaren GTS gets better fuel mileage than the SF90 XX Stradale 4.0 turbo V8 Hybrid running its gasoline engine (15 city/22 hwy vs. 16 city/19 hwy).

The McLaren GTS has a gallon more fuel capacity than the SF90 (19 vs. 18 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The McLaren GTS has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The SF90 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the McLaren GTS has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the SF90.

The McLaren GTS has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The SF90 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

The McLaren GTS has a much larger trunk than the SF90 Coupe (20.1 vs. 2.6 cubic feet).

To make loading and unloading groceries and cargo easier, especially for short adults, the McLaren GTS offers an optional power liftgate, which opens and closes automatically by pressing a button. The SF90 doesn’t offer a power trunk.

Unlike the driver-only memory seat in the SF90, the McLaren GTS offers an optional driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The McLaren GTS’ front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The SF90’s front passenger window doesn’t close automatically.

The McLaren GTS’ standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The SF90’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The McLaren GTS’ standard Keyless Entry and Lock allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Push-button start standard on the SF90 only offers hands-free access for the ignition, none to unlock the car.

The McLaren GTS offers optional heated front seats, which keep the driver and front passenger extremely comfortable in the winter. Heated seats aren’t available in the SF90.

The McLaren GTS’ standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The SF90 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.
